About the Pace CenterPace provides girls and young women an opportunity for a better future through education, counseling, training and advocacy. Their gender-responsive, strength-based and trauma-informed program provides academics and counseling year round. Founded in 1985 in Jacksonville, Florida, Pace Center for Girls serves more than 3,000 vulnerable girls annually in Florida and Georgia. They understand that many girls struggle with traumatic factors in their lives that put them at significant risk for extremely poor lifelong outcomes, including the ability to graduate from high school and/or college and to successfully maintain long-term employment. |

About the Humane Society of Sarasota CountyHumane Society of Sarasota County provides compassionate care to their shelter pets, finds them permanent homes, and promotes responsible pet ownership in our community. They also have a wide variety of incredible community programs, such as their Pet Therapy Program, bringing comfort, happiness, and humane education to a wide range of adults and children throughout Sarasota County, and their Teen Program for animal-loving teens, ages 12-17, who have an interest and passion for helping animals. |
