About Us

Our Mission

To spread gratitude and joy to you and your loved ones through thoughtfully curated gift boxes filled with indulgent and useful products from companies with integrity and purpose. We want the process of shopping for meaningful gifts to be simple and pleasurable, and we want the recipients of your gifts to feel loved and special. We take care of every detail- from sourcing the best products to fine-tuning the browsing and shopping experience to making sure each gift is delivered in perfect condition so that you can click and relax. We’ve got you. Further, with each gift of gratitude purchased, we donate 5% of the proceeds to charities benefitting local youth and animal organizations. Find out more here.

After moving to Sarasota in 2018, I began the quest for a calming creative outlet that would put smiles on others’ faces. Prior to the move, I was a realtor in Connecticut and started my own baby toy line. What I loved about being a realtor was working with clients to find a home that made them happy and settled. What I loved about the baby product line was providing gifts for new parents that made them feel loved. Happy and Humble started out of these passions of mine as well as my mission as a mom to instill strong values in my two boys to be kind, to find joy in every day, and to be humble. I’m so excited to share Happy and Humble with you.

What began as a school-mom friendship quickly turned into a business partnership. Lisa brought me on to help with photography, and before we knew it, my prior experience as a magazine editor and writer as well as quarantine led to us working together on every part of the Happy and Humble business. I love all that the company stands for as well as creating and delivering our beautiful gifts to you and your loved ones.

Office Pups

Our King Charles Cavalier pups Theodore and Charlie are always happy to help us in the studio, especially if it means they get to test out treats or chew on crinkle filler that’s made its way to the floor.

Our 8-year-old intern. She stocks shelves, curates boxes, and samples big kid items and treats. She has plans to be an author, teacher, and of course gift box business owner.
